Guildford to Budapest — in support of suicide prevention.
Sponsor a KMWhy we're doing this
Mental health affects every one of us in some way — through our friends, our families, our colleagues, or our own experiences. It's a conversation that matters deeply to us at True Group, which is why we're proud to be supporting CALM and the life-saving work they do to stand against suicide.
This year, as we opened a new office in Budapest, we wanted to turn that milestone into something meaningful. Our UK home is in Guildford, so we set ourselves a challenge that reflects the distance between the two — and the importance of the cause behind it.
On 21st May 2026, a team of us will cycle the equivalent of 1,500 kilometres from Guildford to Budapest in just 24 hours. Riding static bikes continuously as a team, without stopping, we'll push ourselves physically and mentally to raise money for suicide prevention and mental health support.

CALM is a registered charity dedicated to preventing suicide in the UK. Their free, confidential helpline and webchat is open every day — a lifeline for anyone who is struggling, in crisis, or just needs someone to talk to. No referral. No waiting list. Just a real person on the other end of the line.
Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Around 125 people die by suicide every week. CALM exists to change those numbers — by showing up for people at their lowest point, challenging the stigma that stops people asking for help, and campaigning hard for a world where nobody feels they have nowhere to turn.
